Ever wanted to try the potter’s wheel? This session is all about getting stuck in, having a go, and enjoying the process. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the basics of throwing, with plenty of time to experiment, get messy, and create something uniquely yours.

It’s relaxed, supportive, and designed to give you a real feel for working on the wheel—no experience needed.

What’s Included

• Small group sessions (maximum six people)
• Step-by-step guidance throughout
• All tools, clay, and materials provided
• Keep one pot, finished in your choice of three studio glazes
• Additional pieces can be kept for £10 each

After Your Session

• You’ll choose your favourite pot at the end of the session
• Select your glaze on the day
• We’ll trim, glaze, and fire your piece for you
• Your finished pot will be ready to collect in approximately 4–5 weeks
• We email you once they're ready to collect via the booking email

Bookings, Refunds & Attendance

Our sessions are small (just 6 spaces), so bookings are paid in full at the time of booking.

If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. A 10% administration fee applies to any eligible refunds.

• More than 14 days before: Reschedule once or receive a refund (minus 10% fee)
• Within 14 days: Bookings are non-refundable, but can be rescheduled once
• Within 7 days: We’re unable to reschedule, but if your space is filled we’ll happily move your booking

You’re very welcome to transfer your place to a friend if you can’t attend.

If we need to cancel a session, you’ll be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
