A focused 3-week introduction to the pottery wheel – ideal for beginners or anyone wanting to build confidence in throwing.
Course Overview:
Weeks 1 & 2: Throwing on the Wheel – Learn the fundamentals including centring, pulling walls, and shaping simple forms.
Week 3: Turning – Refine and finish your pieces by turning the bases for a professional finish.

- Clay charged at the end of the course based on what you choose to keep

Refunds & Attendance
Our courses are small and places are limited, so bookings must be paid in full at the time of registration.
If you need to cancel, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. A 10% administration fee applies to all refunds.
- More than 3 weeks before the course start date – 80% refund
- 2–3 weeks before – 40% refund
- Less than 2 weeks before – no refund
You’re welcome to transfer your place to another person if you can’t attend. Transfers between different course dates are not available.
If a session cannot run due to tutor availability, a suitable alternative or refund will be offered. If the full course is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.
Pottery relies on timing and studio space, so missed sessions are difficult to make up. We’ll always try to help where possible, but rescheduling can’t be guaranteed.
