Improvers 7-week throwing course
Throwing Course (Adults) – 7 Week Wheel Course
Develop your pottery wheel skills over seven weeks – building confidence, refining technique, and taking your work from a lump of clay to finished glazed pots.
About the Course
This 7-week throwing course is designed for beginners with some experience and returning potters who want more time to develop their skills on the wheel.
Working in a small group of just 6 participants, you'll receive demonstrations, individual guidance and plenty of hands-on throwing time throughout the course.
What You'll Explore
Over the seven weeks, we’ll explore throwing, turning, handles, form development, creative projects and glazing – giving you the opportunity to experience the full pottery process from clay to finished piece.
Your 7 Week Journey
🏺 Weeks 1 & 2: Throwing
Build confidence on the wheel, practising centring, pulling walls, shaping and creating consistent forms.
