Parent & Child Pottery Wheel Workshop
A fun clay adventure for creative kids and their grown-ups
Get ready for some muddy fun at the pottery wheel! In this relaxed and playful workshop, children (8+) and their parent or guardian will learn how to throw clay on the wheel together.
You'll start with a short demonstration showing how the potter’s wheel works, then it's your turn to get hands-on. We'll guide you step-by-step as you centre the clay, shape your pots, and experience the magic of wheel throwing.

We've allowed two hours so everyone can enjoy the experience at a comfortable pace, as children often work at different speeds.
If your young potter finishes early or decides they’ve had enough clay time, they will remain your responsibility for the remainder of the session. This may mean helping them tidy up a little earlier while others finish their creations.
Our team will be supporting participants throughout the workshop, but parents and guardians stay involved alongside their children during the experience.Please note: You can swap dates once with at least 3 weeks notice before the workshop.
